In a way, the impressive quality of this Cyber Space stage just makes me even more disappointed by the rest of what I played. However, that was before the reveal of Cyber Space. The internet at large was also quick to say it didn’t look all that good – something backed up by Miguel who went hands on with Sonic Frontiers at SGF.
Many were quick to make comparisons to the likes of The Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but Xenoblade Chronicles also came up as a source of visual design inspiration. They’ll be really disappointed when they’ll see that it isn’t the main focus of the game. They’re expecting too much for cyberspace levels. SONIC FRONTIERS TRAILER LEAK PLUS
Plus this 'leak' doesn’t even sound good (Seems like a typical intro of a meta era game). Spotted by Twitter user Nibel, a new YouTube ad for Sonic Frontiers just went live, and was promptly taken down. Sonic Team is pushing the franchise in a new open world direction with Sonic whisked away to the mysterious Starfall Islands, doing battle with angular, robotic foes and solving environmental puzzles. They know a lot of the sonic community can easily be fooled by things they think can be good for a sonic game. Sonic Frontiers has had whatever the opposite of a hype train is gaining speed ever since its first gameplay reveal in the run up to Summer Game Fest in June.
